The Resurrection Power: A Story of Hope and Second Chances

Have you ever felt like something in your life was completely dead—your career, your hope, your health, your joy? I have. But what was once buried, God brought back to life. This is my story.

A Zealous Beginning

Twenty-seven years ago, I was a young woman filled with passion and purpose. I accepted a position on a private island—not just to earn a living, but to be more than ordinary. Soon, they called me “the willing horse”—I worked hard, stayed late, and gave my all.

Six years into a 15-year career, I earned my first managerial role. And the promotions didn’t stop there. One department turned into two, then three, and more. Though unsure at first, I handled every new challenge with grace. Somehow, I made hard things look easy.

Success… Then Silence

But success has a way of whispering lies. As my influence grew, so did my pride. My self-sufficiency outpaced my dependence on God. The One who had lifted me was being slowly replaced by the very things He had given me.

Then—just like that—it all stopped. My career was suddenly, unexpectedly, dead. For five long years, the doors closed. The rug was pulled out from under me.

The God of the Middle

But that wasn’t the end. God began a deep work in me—pruning, refining, reshaping. He didn’t just resurrect my career. He resurrected my love for Him. My humility. My impact. My influence. He restored all that was lost and made it look as though the pause had never happened.

I am that woman. This is my resurrection story.

What Is Resurrection?

Resurrection means bringing something dead—something truly lifeless—back to full and vibrant life. It’s not just about rising again; it’s about reconnecting to your purpose, your people, your place, your passion.

Jesus is the only one who holds resurrection power.
The power to do what feels impossible, effortlessly.

But before resurrection, there must first be death.

Sometimes we cause it.
Sometimes others do.
But, no matter the reason why death occurs, God can be glorify in resurrection.

What in Your Life Needs Resurrection?

💔 Maybe it’s your health.
💔 Maybe it’s a broken relationship.
💔 Maybe it’s your hope, long buried under years of disappointment.
💔 Maybe it’s your career, paused in a way you never imagined.

I want to tell you today: the Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ can bring it back. He did it for me—and He can do it for you.

The Scripture That Anchors Me

“God has spoken plainly, and I have heard it many times: Power, O God, belongs to You.”
Psalm 62:11 (NLT)

There is nothing—no failure, no silence, no diagnosis, no heartbreak—that God cannot turn around.

Let Resurrection Begin in You

I invite you to take a moment right now and ask:
“Lord, what in my life needs Your resurrection power?”

Let Him breathe life into that place. Let Him show you that resurrection is not just a story from 2,000 years ago—it’s your story in the making.

You are next in line for resurrection.
